Take the sting out of winter with the Beekeepers OFF SEASON. Winter is the time when the bees huddle up in a big ball in the hive keeping their queen warm and fed, while the beekeeper enjoys the fruits of the bee’s summer labour.

Are you curious about bees and what is going on inside that buzzing box in the garden? Then spend an afternoon with Beekeeper Lisa learning about the honeybee. Enjoy the smell and taste of a warm summer day while we utilize the produce the bee made us to enjoy the rest of the year.

Enjoy the afternoon as we learn about the honeybee, how to make eco beeswax wraps and a beeswax candle. Look at bee parts under a microscope and take a picture or two with the phone camera attachment.
