Tess Magor works from her studio located in the beautiful Huon Valley in Tasmania, Australia’s Island state. She primarily works with the mediums of printmaking, painting and drawing but also experiments by combining traditional and contemporary crafts and technologies.
She is interested in landscape and history. Loss, change and impermanence.
Tess’s work explores the concepts of connection to place and the transience of nature. Where possible, she likes to sketch and photograph in situ/in life to collect resources to base her final works on.
